InPrint shows evolution of inkjet for Nazdar Ink Technologies

nazdar-inprint-2016InPrint 2016 was an opportunity for ink expert Nazdar to spend time with existing partners – who range from OEMs to technology enablers specialising in print heads, software, RIPs and ink supply systems – and to discuss potential projects with new contacts.

It was also a chance to check on the health of the industrial printing market, for which Nazdar develops industrial, screen, flexo and digital inks. According to Keith Nixon, Sales Director (EMEA) for Nazdar Ink Technologies, InPrint has been a barometer for the evolution and adoption of inkjet inks in particular.

"Over the last three years, we've met more people with answers than questions at InPrint," he says. "Previously, the vast majority of attendees wanted to know what inkjet is, but now people understand it and have adopted it, they know the direction the want to go in, so they're going to the event to find the right people to achieve those objectives.

"We're still working on developing inkjet inks to be even better and there are more improvements on the way, but we're definitely seeing the see-saw tipping towards inkjet."

Nazdar will be attending the next edition of InPrint, taking place in Orlando, Florida, USA from April 25th to 27th 2017, where the alternative inks developer will again be able to advise visitors on the best ink for their requirements.

Nazdar will also provide information on its latest formulations, including digital aqueous ink for applications such as direct and indirect sublimation and direct to garment technologies; water-based inks for laminated substrates and other décor applications; and UV inkjet inks for single pass industrial and direct to shape applications including glass and plastic containers.

"InPrint is a great networking opportunity," says Keith Nixon. "It's definitely worth attending as there's nothing else really like it in the market."
