Heidelberg Omnifire event attracts industrial print leaders

omnifireOn 15-16 March 2017, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG will host a special event in Heidelberg focused on providing help for customers investing in their innovative direct to shape inkjet technology.

According to General Manager of 4D Printing, Frank Janssen, the event is designed to inspire, inform and educate customers with the potential of the technology. 

Janssen explains, “Omnifire can literally open up new markets for customers, there is no doubt about that. But what we aim to achieve with this event is to help our customers establish the right application that will work with them, the right approach and the best possible business model going forward. The potential of the technology is exciting, and our role is to help customers make the right choice and then support them in really making it work.”

Marcus Timson, Co-founder of InPrint Show will present key insight, trends and developments for industrial print. Additionally, the first Omnifire 1000 customer Ritzi automotive will present why they opted for this technology and the programme is further enhanced with expert talks, machine demonstrations and customer discussions to make this day special for all interested customers.omnifire2

At InPrint 2015, Heidelberg showcased the Omnifire 250 which demonstrated the effectiveness of the technology for printing onto footballs. And at InPrint 2016, they launched the Omnifire 1000, a fully industrial machine capable of printing directly onto a diverse mix of shapes. During InPrint 2016, Heidelberg also were ‘Highly Commended’ in the Great Innovations Competition for the Omnifire 1000.
