3D Printing Industry Awards are dedicated to uncovering and rewarding the very best in additive technologies. Each year, the jury awards the winners for innovation, creativity and functionality of their 3D Printing solutions. This year VSHAPER PRO 3D Printer has been appreciated by the experts from the field of 3D Printing and nominated for 3D Printing Industry Awards 2018 in “Enterprise 3D Printer of the year (Polymers)” category.

Entering the contest are products that single out with their technological features and quality. 3D Printing Industry Awards are granted in 20 categories, some of which are “3D Printing start-up of the year”, “Aerospace or Automotive application”, “Creative use of 3D Printing” or “Innovation of the year”. A new category has been added this year and it is  “3D Printing Region of the year” in which, as an act of appreciation of Polish 3D Printing industry, the city of Kraków has been nominated.

Each year, nearly 2 000 products are designated to enter the competition, out of which only a few products per category are officially nominated. The winners are chosen by the readers of 3D Printing Industry portal. This year, VSHAPER PRO has been nominated in “Enterprise 3D Printer of the year (Polymers)” category and it competes against Carbon M2, EnvisionTEC DLP line, EOS P 500, HP MJF and Markforged X7.

The nominee, VSHAPER PRO, is one of world’s very few PEEK printing devices able to heat up to 450°C. It is a modern industrial machine designed to create 3D Prints with enhanced mechanical and thermal endurance.

Prints created in VSHAPER PRO, widely popular in medicine, automotive and aerospace industries, are often used as alternatives to elements made of metal or even titanium – explains Tomasz Szymański, the founder and CEO of VERASHAPE.

The distinguished VSHAPER PRO printer is very popular and highly valued both in the scientific community and industry. Last year, VSHAPER PRO was awarded the MTP Gold Medal 2017 and the Build 3D Printing Award. The machine is also nominated for the "Product of the Year 2018" by "Inżynieria & Utrzymanie Ruchu" magazine, as well as for the 3D Printing Center’s" Best Polish 3D Printer 2017"  .

The list of nominees for the 3D Printing Industry Awards can still be extended with new solutions selected to receive the prize, as the nomination will last until February 28th, 2018. Next, the portal's readers will be able to vote for the selected product, company or entrepreneur. The results will be announced on May 17th, 2018 at the award ceremony in London.
